I had participated in some of the earlier dungeons. I have primarily sPvPed after getting to lvl 80 so I decided to take a break from sPvP and work on some dungeons again. The first group myself and two guildies joined wanted to exploit, run past all the mobs, and complain about the dungeon. I understand that GW2 makes their bosses and dungeon mobs rather Hard Hitting (that is an understatement) but what are you racing to? There is nothing else past these dungeons so just enjoy it and learn how to do it correctly. It requires good gear to go into some of these dungeons and without it you will take a bit of damage. 

I just want to know what happened to all the old school MMO players? Who enjoyed the challenge even if it was very hard with a little RP/fun. I just want to enjoy the game.

I am enjoying Tera a bunch! It is not the normal MMO feel which is a great change. The beta is very polished for where it is so I can expect a lot of good things from the game. Currently I am playing an Elin Archer. Archers seem to be rather good DPS and can do great AoE DPS when in a group. I haven’t been able to play with the other classes but I do plan on making a warrior.

I think I will play an Elin archer in Tera. I almost always play the bow class in MMOs, Rift was the first time I really played a melee class as my main. I like both a lot so I am still a little torn on playing a warrior. Hopefully the game has a lot of replay value so I can make both and enjoy it.

I didn’t pay much attention to Tera before, but this game actually looks kinda cool. The hack and slash feel is something that has me balancing between a yes and no. Most MMOs that attempt the hack and slash like systems don’t end up going far, but that doesn’t mean I can’t give it a try. 

On a second note the game looks gorgeous character models and architecture both. Only negative on that is most outfits for women are skimpy but how is that any different from current MMOs? Anyways, I think I will pre-order and try the closed beta + 1st month of the game.

Played some of the Beta and I really like the game. It has a lot of the great things in other MMO’s and the storyline while kind of cliche is still fun. I enjoy the constant changing of the world and random events happening.
