GW2 Dungeons

I had participated in some of the earlier dungeons. I have primarily sPvPed after getting to lvl 80 so I decided to take a break from sPvP and work on some dungeons again. The first group myself and two guildies joined wanted to exploit, run past all the mobs, and complain about the dungeon. I understand that GW2 makes their bosses and dungeon mobs rather Hard Hitting (that is an understatement) but what are you racing to? There is nothing else past these dungeons so just enjoy it and learn how to do it correctly. It requires good gear to go into some of these dungeons and without it you will take a bit of damage.

I just want to know what happened to all the old school MMO players? Who enjoyed the challenge even if it was very hard with a little RP/fun. I just want to enjoy the game.

The Elder Scrolls Online

Is anyone looking forward to this game? I know that GW2 just came out not too long ago but the games initial launch kind of killed my efforts on trying to start a guild in the game that would last like my previous game experiences. That and the lack of competent officers and our server always being full it really hurt the community building factor. I want to try and get something started ahead of time while I still play GW2 and other games.

Someone wanted to see that I could survive more than a second as an elementalist. Here is the footage. I made my character just like Korra for the lolz and thus far has been entertaining.

Alright, I have decided to get back into Lotro but I don’t know which character I wish to play. I can either continue on my Hunter and get to 75 from 65 or I can level my Warden for a bit and see how long I have fun with that.
I looked over some of the Legendary Item changes and I am a lot happier with how they function now. I still disagree with their level cap rising and think that legendary items should sinc with player level not be leveled up. I am a little sad that my server seems kind of low population now. I will not server transfer but I hope Elendilmir gets some people back into it.

I was thinking about playing Lotro again. I have a Lifetime sub so I can get on and off it any time I want. Rift is going well but it is kind of stale and I feel that while lotro isn’t the most up-to-date it has a lot of great features and world. I always had gripes with Lotro but a lot of those are being fixed.
If anyone is interested in maybe joining a casual raiding guild I will probably re-open Moriken on Elendilmir and have a few good raiders from Rift running as well.

I am rather interested in Guild Wars 2, especially since it is a free to pay game (one time payment).
The concept art is amazing and some of the information and videos released are showing some promising content. While GW2 looks amazing so far it is not going to be a normal MMO.
From what I can tell the combat system is similar to hack & slash games or something like Dungeon Siege, Spiral Knights, and many other “Dungeon Crawl” games. There is no regular targeting in an MMO and you have a set amount of skills to work with. I think it is worth looking into especially since there is no subscription fee.

Made it to 50 and made a decent Riftblade setup.

Played some of the Beta and I really like the game. It has a lot of the great things in other MMO’s and the storyline while kind of cliche is still fun. I enjoy the constant changing of the world and random events happening.
